Plumbing

Plumbing students learn important skills such as installing and repairing water, waste, and gas systems in residential and commercial settings. Heavy emphasis is placed on renewable energy regulations and Massachusetts State Code.

2VP11A Plumbing Aspects I - 201 Our 10th grade plumbing shop curriculum introduces the students to several aspects of the plumbing trade as well as the health and safety and allowable materials used in the industry. 2VP21A Plumbing Aspects II- 202 Our 10th grade plumbing shop curriculum introduces the students to several aspects of the plumbing trade as well as the health and safety and allowable materials used in the industry. 2VP31A Plumbing Theory I Students will primarily work individually out of their Plumbing Shop Project Book. They will be graded on a daily basis according to our Student Evaluation Sheet that is kept for each student every cycle. Chapters 1-7 of the Plumbing Tier I book will be covered and assessed each cycle before moving on. 2E, 2F 1 Lussier, Jarrod 1
2VP41A Plumbing Theory II Students will primarily work individually out of their Plumbing Shop Project Book. 3VP11A/ 3VP11B Principles of Residential Plumbing & Code 301 The eleventh grade plumbing shop curriculum covers residential plumbing theory, fixtures and design. Students will learn residential plumbing systems, their designs, and applications. Students will work independently, in pairs, and in groups to complete a project based curriculum. Students will be responsible for documenting in their notebooks and portfolio writing. 2M, 4A, 4B 7 Wiseman, Ronald 1
3VP31A/ 3VP31B Principles of Commercial Plumbing -302 The second semester junior curriculum covers commercial plumbing theory, fixtures and design. Students will learn commercial plumbing systems, their designs, and applications. Students will work independently, in pairs, and in groups to complete a project based curriculum. Students will be responsible for documenting in their notebooks and portfolio writing.
