Recently added to the Design & Visual Communication department, the program study of Performing Arts demonstrates a vital communications medium that accentuates both sight and sound. Students who select this specialization are instructed in music theory, composition and improvisation, music history, form and analysis, ear training, and instrumental technique classes. Students are given the opportunity to perform classical, jazz, mariachi and popular music in both large and small ensembles.
