Cosmetology students learn to become innovative, professionally trained individuals that are in constant demand. Hairstylists and cosmetologists provide all types of services such as hairstyling, makeup application, coloring, curling, perming, scalp treatments, facials and manicures. By learning various techniques, students are able to work and analyze what the client will need in any area of hair, makeup or aesthetics. The courses we offer foster the work ethic, life skills, and competencies necessary for life-long learning and career success. Among our many responsibilities is the development and allocation of resources to meet the constantly and rapidly changing demands of the industry.
Students have the opportunity to receive their Cosmetology License upon completion of 1000 hours and passing both the written and performance Licensing exam. They also earn an OSHA general industry certification and First Aid and CPR certification.
