Events in our nation and abroad have sharpened the focus on security and safety. Many private firms, public agencies, corporations, small businesses, individuals, communities, and local, regional, and state government employ security and law enforcement professionals. The Criminal Justice field is central to sound management of the public and private enterprise system. The program prepares students to enter the security and protection field or continue their education at college or law enforcement or protection academies. Through this program, students will learn the theory and operation of security and legal protection systems.
Students have the opportunity to earn an OSHA general industry certification and First Aid and CPR certification. As part of the curriculum students become I-Safe Mentor certified and are trained on Iris Recognition Software.
