Metal fabrication students learn skills that include creating different shapes for cars and motorcycles using metal, sheet metal and plastic processing. In a diverse field, students will experience different types of welding such as, oxygen-acetylene welding, arc welding, inert gas process and resistances welding which are the tools that are needed to work within the metal fabrication field. Employers are in constant need of highly skilled specialized metal fabricators for the machine industry, marine industry, or automotive industry. Also, metal fabrication uses rolling machine, bending, forming machines and shearing machines to cut metal forms down to size.
