Students will learn and demonstrate comparing and contrasting fasteners, proper measuring procedures, and Hand and Power Tools.   2VL3 Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair and Refinishing Students will learn and demonstrate welding and metal cutting, plastic repair, and finish and paint automotive bodies.   3VL1 Advanced Non-Structural Repair Students will earn an OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety training card and be able to develop a repair plan through visual inspections/analyzing damage, repair and adjust vehicle exterior panels, and servicing automotive glass.   3VL2 Introduction to Mechanical Components Students will be able to identify and inspect Automotive Mechanical components such as engine, engine support systems, suspension and braking systems for damage.   4VL2 Introduction to Automotive Electrical Systems Topics covered in this course will include the inspection and repair of automotive electrical systems such as; charging, lighting, and Air Bag Restraint systems, and learn how to use troubleshooting/diagnostic equipment to make repairs.   4VL4 Structural Damage Analysis and Advanced Refinishing Students will be able to inspect and identify vehicle structural and related damage on uni-body and full frame vehicles, learn how to read frame dimension charts, perform vehicle measurement and learn how to use specialized equipment for repairing structural damage. Students will also learn advanced refinishing techniques.
