The Guidance Department is committed to working with every student as an individual. We are here to assist students and support parents as we work together towards high academic achievement, social growth, and planning for life beyond high school.
Post- secondary planning is a major focus for the department. In doing so, we appreciate the opportunity to work closely with families to establish responsible roles in this process. Our team is here to help all parties so that growth and learning is on-going and sustainable in the future. The counselors are divided by Vocational-Technical Centers which allows them to gain knowledge and expertise in the post-secondary planning for each career major. For some majors, students need to return after high school for transcripts, licensure assistance, or financial planning beyond the freshmen year of college. We understand that and look forward to establishing a long-standing, meaningful relationship.
