Cooperative Education

For a student to be eligible for the Co-op Program, he or she must maintain good academic and vocational grades and have good attendance.

Cooperative Education is an educational program which develops partnerships between business, industry, and education to enable vocational students to enter the work force. Students gain valuable on-the-job training and employers benefit by acquiring workers who are trained in the basic skills necessary for their business. The program, offered primarily to seniors, allows students work experience and then return to school for one week of academic study. Students are available for part-time work during the week of academic study or during school vacations. For a student to be eligible for the Co-op Program, he or she must maintain good academic and vocational grades and have good attendance. Employers have the opportunity to evaluate all student workers on a regular basis while they are part of the Cooperative Education Program.
