- The rain garden can be found outside the environmental shop.
- The purpose of the ran garden is to trap, store, and filter water run off before allowing it to return to natural systems.
- There are four levels of the garden. The water will first go to the drainage flow area and water storage.
- Then the water will be soaked into soil to help growing plants, any excess water goes into a drainage outlet and it can access other areas of soil from there.
- Now that way we have lower water pollution from our own shop and are able to grow plants around the area.
