Morning Announcements 4/10/19

The Varsity Softball team defeated Upper Cape Tech (18-3).  The team was led offensively by Erin Kelly, Jordan Burke and Maddie Hornung, all with three hits.  Maddie Hornung earned her first win of the season.


The Southeastern Baseball team (1-1) lost to Upper Cape in a non-league contest (9-2).  Griffen Bethune caught a solid game behind the plate and led the Hawks offensively with a hit and two RBI’s.


The Boys’ Lacrosse team picked up their 4th win at Old Colony yesterday (14-7).  Max Gonsalves led with five goals and one assist.  Sean Brennan had four goals and two assists.  Dan Gullak tallied 16 won face offs and also notched two goals.  Ryan Parks played phenomenal in net to secure the Hawks’ victory.  The Boys’ Lacrosse team’s next home game is this Friday against rival B-P.


A reminder for Community Service Students–there is a meeting after school today in room 3-325 with GSA for the Day of Silence.


Community Service is extending the Sneaker and Shoe Collection until after April vacation.  Please think of us when you do your spring cleaning.


Employee Benefit Fair is today:  11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the gym.


Attention all A.P. US Government and Politics Seniors:

The field trip to the E.M. Kennedy Institute for the Senate will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019.  Please remember to bring a bag lunch or money to buy lunch in the cafeteria before we leave.


Attention Seniors:

Don’t forget the deadline for the Southeastern Scholarship/Toolship applications is this Friday, April 12, 2019.  You must share your application with your guidance counselor on Google classroom to be considered.


There will be a mandatory yearbook meeting Thursday after school in room 6-121.
