GSA Day of Silence
On Thursday, April 29th, the GSA and allies will be recognizing the Day of Silence. The Day of Silence is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ students and allies all around the country—and the world—take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools.
The GSA will be distributing stickers to cohorts and shops on Wednesday afternoon in preparation for Thursday’s Day of Silence. Students interested in participating may take a sticker and sign the online pledge (which will be sent out Wednesday night). Students who participate will remain silent during the day but this should not prevent them from participating in classes.
