Southeastern Natural & Life Sciences Students Recognized by STEM Professionals

Congratulations! Students in the Natural & Life Sciences (NLS) program at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical School were chosen by industry professionals to be recognized for their Project Lead The Way work submitted to Student Industry Connects.

Annick Kenfak, Olivia Tagne, and Abigail Philemond’s submission impressed the STEM experts who reviewed student work from across the Commonwealth. Their project was chosen to be awarded third place among all the High School Biomedical Science projects submitted.

As a small token of recognition for their hard work and creative ideas, they received a certificate of recognition and Amazon gift card prize for each student.

Southeastern is pleased at the outcome of sharing the students’ work and providing them with an opportunity to connect the NLS program to the work STEM professionals do every day. The NLS sophomore class all submitted work that was reviewed by an industry professional. Each submission was provided valuable feedback validating the work students do on campus everyday. We appreciate more than ever the dedication of organizations like PLTW, Mass STEM Hub, One8 Foundation, National Grid & BAE Systems that go above and beyond to support opportunities like this for our students.
