Our Culinary & Hospitality Students are working hard!

Our Culinary & Hospitality students and staff were extremely busy this past week! Our freshmen students were learning about equipment identification and usage while also preparing multiple catering orders! They prepared over 400 cookies and some impressive King’s Cakes as just part of the 6 catering orders fulfilled this week. The freshmen also prepared box lunches for a special guest meeting and many items for our 2 for $5 combo menu.

Our Juniors were also hard at work executing orders and guest service for our student-run restaurant. As usual, it was an extremely busy week for us selling over $2000 in delicious meals, beverages, and treats. In addition, our Juniors spent this week learning about nutrition and how to properly fuel our bodies and create balanced menus.

Our student-run restaurant, The Boot & Shovel Cafe, is open to the public daily from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  Stop in and dine with us!
