Southeastern employees enjoyed a complimentary breakfast from Wendy's courtesy of 101.7 The Bull. DJ Brandan Clay and the iHeartRadio Promotion Team gave away swag, played music, and engaged with the SET staff. Fun little staff bonding during April Vacation.

Throughout the month of March, we asked our Southeastern Regional staff and students to nominate Outstanding Community Members and share how they positively impact and contribute to the Southeastern Community. We received nearly 100 nominations from our administrators, faculty, staff, and students! Our winners received a certificate of appreciation, a SERSD swag bag and luncheon with our Superintendent. Over the next few weeks, we will share a highlight of each winner and an excerpt of their nominations. Please join us in congratulating our April winners!

All students traveling to Greece with Mrs. Miller today should have left their luggage in Dr. Howell's office already. At 12 today please report to the lobby. Teachers-–you will be receiving an email from Dr. Howell with a roster of these students.

Tickets for the Masquerade Spring Dance are now on sale. The dance will take place on May 10th at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available to buy on MySchoolbucks. The final day to buy tickets is April 28th. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.

The Esports STAR SMASHERS Mario Kart squad led by: Jordan DosSantos, Melissa O’Donnell, Kai Mendes and Nehamiah Chrispin-Perkins improved their record to 4-1 on the season by defeating Goddard High School 2-0!

Despite dropping the first 2 sets, the team rallied and secured a fantastic 3-2 victory over Scituate. Captain Noah Khan's incredible serving led the charge with an impressive 16 aces, including 6 aces on 11 consecutive serves in the final set, clinching a 15-4 win. Jaymiro Monteiro showcased his talent with 8 kills, while captain Braedon Russell made 2 crucial blocks to seal the win.

The Esports Splatoon Platoon continued their first place performance on Tuesday led by: Nate Anderson, Miguel Guerrero , Matthew Butcher and Curtis Price defeating Notre Dame high school 3-0!

The Esports Apex Legends Blue squad led by: Stanley Andrade, Jayden Gomes and Devan Hogan defeated Webster Thomas High School 2-0.

Esports Minecraft Survival Games player Nathan Surette scored 64 points dominating his match against 19 other opponents!

On Monday, March 25, Jateja Spriggs, a senior in the Legal & Protective Services Program from Brockton, was sworn into the Executive Committee of Governor Healey's Youth Advisory Council at an official ceremony at the State House. Superintendent Holly Mc Clanan and Principal Leslie Weckesser were quick to nominate Jateja to apply for this prestigious honor due to her involvement in several schoolwide initiatives to bring about change at Southeastern. Jaetja was selected by Governor Heally's office because of her dedication to civic engagement and commitment to shaping the future of Massachusetts. Jateja's mother, brother, and Legal & Protective Services Instructors Patricia Allen and Joshua Brewster accompanied her to witness this prestigious honor. Congratulations, Jateja! We are so proud of your accomplishment!

Attention SET Seniors! Southeastern Technical Institute (STI) scholarships are available for September 2024 in the STI Dental Assisting & Medical Assisting Programs.
