Eric Barbosa Semedo (Class of 2023) has been awarded a Daedalian Flight Training Scholarship through Air Force ROTC. Eric is currently a freshman at Norwich University in Vermont and a member of the Corps of Cadets. Offered annually by the National Order of Daedalians, the scholarship is designed to encourage cadets to pursue careers as military aviators and to enhance their likelihood of being selected by building flight experience during college.
Eric will work towards earning his Private Pilot Certificate at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA, this summer. As a student at Southeastern Regional, Eric took the Introduction to Aviation course and earned an Air Force Aim High Flight Training Scholarship, which provided 15 hours of flying last summer in Arizona. Eric graduated from Southeastern's Precision Machine Engineering program.
