Southeastern Regional’s Digital Cinema and Broadcasting program is proud to announce that its annual holiday card film, Southeastern Christmas Carol, has been officially selected for competition at the Lowell Film Festival, taking place April 4-5, 2025, at Middlesex Community College. The film will premiere during the Friday, April 4th, 7:00 PM screening slot.
“Southeastern Christmas Carol” was created by the program’s senior class under the guidance of instructors Janelle Canastra, Christopher Crossen-Sills, and Christie Reading. Each year, the Digital Cinema and Broadcasting program collaborates with the entire Southeastern school community to produce a heartfelt holiday card, showcasing the creativity, hard work, and dedication of its students and faculty.
“We are incredibly honored to have Southeastern Christmas Carol recognized at the Lowell Film Festival,” said Janelle Canastra. “This film represents not only the talents of our students but also the spirit of collaboration and storytelling that defines our program.”
