Happy Black History Month SERSD! You may be asking who do we celebrate during Black History Month? This month, we celebrate and honor all Black people from all periods of history. Doesn’t matter if they were alive during the 1700s or now, we celebrate all contributions and achievements made within the Black community. Before school, please walk around and look at the Door Decorations to learn about the amazing Black leaders we are celebrating this month!

The SADD Club will be holding a blanket drive from January 8th to February 2nd. Please donate gently used or new blankets, comforters and sheets. There will be a bin at the front office for all donations. All blankets, comforters, and sheets will be going directly to the homeless and those who are in need.

The Student Council is celebrating Halloween! Join in the fun by buying spooky candy grams for your friends or dressing in a Halloween costume during academic week.
The Student Council is selling Spooky Candy Grams during ALL lunches on Friday, 10/27 and Monday, 10/30. All Spooky Candy Grams will be delivered on Tuesday, 10/31.
Prices: 1 for $1.50 or 3 for $5
The Student Council Club is hosting a costume contest on Friday, 10/27 for 10th & 12th grades ONLY and Tuesday, 10/31 for 9th & 11th grades ONLY. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR COSTUMES IN SHOP OR WEAR MASKS!! The winner of the costume contest will receive a Halloween bag.
