Guidance Calendar – April 2026 (Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School) Ongoing: School counselors will meet with students to review their career plans and ensure their academic schedules align with their postsecondary goals. These meetings are designed to support thoughtful planning and keep students on track for graduation and future success. April 6 (Monday): Deadline to sign up for SAT at Southeastern Southeastern is hosting the SAT on May 2. If you would like to take the SAT at Southeastern, go to sersd.org/page/guidance on the testing tab to sign up. You will also have to register at Collegeboard.org by April 17. April 9 (Thursday): College Planning Workshop Join the SET Guidance Department for an interactive college planning presentation designed specifically for juniors and their families. Learn about the college search and application process. 6 pm in the SPAC. April 13 (Monday): Virtual 9th Grade Parent/Guardian Forum Join our school adjustment counselors for a virtual forum focused on supporting 9th grade students. Families will learn about Closegap, our student check-in tool, and how it helps us better understand and support student well-being. We’ll also share practical strategies around sleep, healthy routines, and ways to support your teen at home. 6:30 pm via Zoom. Link will be emailed on the 13th. April 17 (Friday): Deadline to return Honors/AP commitment forms Students signing up for honors or AP class for the 26–27 school year must return their commitment form to Guidance or the Main Office. Forms are available in the guidance department. April 17 (Friday): Deadline to sign up for the May 2 SAT Register for the SAT by going to Collegeboard.org. See your School Counselor for assistance. April 30 (Thursday): Massasoit On-the-Spot Acceptance Representatives from Massasoit will be on-site to review applications and provide immediate admission decisions.
